Model H0 1:87 Scale

1986, after receiving the images of the original bridge, which sent me the relevant Engineer of the UP Railroad, I started the bridge on a scale of 1:87 (H0) to plan and build. This was a "decades-building"!

Finally, there were two: a friend of the American Railroadfans and me. The bridge is now integrated in a modular system and may be viewed on open days.

Here are some shots of the operable modules with the two bridges.

Why two bridges. . ?
Since the double track railway line was planned on the modules, we built next to the Timber Howe Truss Bridge, the new Plate-Girder Steel Bridge, which has built the UP in the winter of 1985 again. A compromise on the Patriot model, which you can enter the model
.

Three "Outside" pics of the first module with the southshore trestle that I have taken on a misty autumn day on the balcony. This before the module was integrated into the module-layout.
